A 1960s Treasure
Directly across Avenue Rd, where I showed you the Art Deco apartment building a week ago, is this wonderful apartment building from 1965. Designed by architect Uno Prii it is one of many that he designed in the city especially in the Annex neighbourhood. A lot of them have heritage protection but I am not sure about this one. It is different and pleasing.
It's actually beautiful in a different way.
Great looking building. In 1965 it must have looked very futuristic.
