Red Door

Continuing my search for colour - this door and awning are from 1 of the laneway houses that I have discovered in my wanderings. Love the punch of red against that grey wall with the ochre trim. Still no snow here!

OOO ... I'm sorry. I thought I had left a comment during my Sunday on this post of yours. I shall leave another one right now.

I like this door and its surrounds. Not just the colours, which I think are great in combination, but also the straight lines and then that great curve of the wiring.

Finally, I like the shape of the house number. The entire thing shows a great design eye.

Wow! That door really pops! I bet you can spot this door in a mile away because of the color. If I have a red door like that, I will always know which house to go into. You will never get lost in the sea of “same-colored” doors! [Marla Hinds]

I agree with what you said, Marla! If you really want your door or your entire house to get noticed by everyone, you should go for this kind of color. Well, you have to make sure first if it will look nice. Try to check some designs online, so you can get some inspirations.
