Old City Hall Clock Tower Reflected

This is the clock tower of our Old City Hall which was constructed in 1899 and designed by architect E. J. Lennox. When constructed, it was the largest building in Toronto and is still quite spectacular sitting at the head of Bay St beside our new City Hall. I loved this reflection of the tower in the office building behind it. I will show you some shots of the whole building at a later date.

Excellent, Redpat. It reminds me of Trinity Church in Boston (an H.H.Richardson brownstone building) reflected in the glass curtain wall of its neighbor the Hancock building.

Very nice shot!
It's fun to see two sides of the same building/tower, in the same photo. ;-)

Wow, the composition is really amazing ! The tower clock looks just like if it was behind the mirror building ; it create quite a perspective, bravo !

How very cool, the juxtaposition of the old against the new! It tends to be a Canadian thing, doesnt it...LOL.

This is one of thew few times where a glass building next to an historical stone structure works.
