Madison Lofts

Factory conversions are taking place all over the city and this one just south of Casa Loma involved converting an old hydro building into luxury lofts. The building was constructed in 1951 to store huge wire bundles of wire and features 12' ceilings but most of the units look like just ordinary condo units. It is a great looking building though!

I like the big windows in these lofts. ;-)

Wouldn't it be wonderful to have those high ceilings?

If I were looking for this kind of living arrangement in Toronto, this would be a contender. I like high ceilings.

I agree with Jack, high ceilings are a very attractive feature. It is a great looking building Red, would the apartments in a place like this go pretty fast?

Fell in love with high ceilings. I have noticed that when remodeled, industrial architecture of fifties has very good presumptions to become 1st class accommodation nowadays.
