Catwalk

Continuing with the buildings from yesterday, this pic shows  a catwalk that was installed between the 2 buildings at some point creating just the kind of laneway I like to explore. It previously led to delivery doors but now leads to the entrances of various businesses in the buildings.

Very cool. I love this kind of laneway and the fact there are businesses located therein!

It needs a few Toronto style murals to liven it up hey Pat :)

They did a good job of matching the building brick when they made this addition.

It is a Toronto Ginnel! Nice to see it is free of litter and tags.

That I like tremendously. Reminds me of a warren of passages here in Ottawa, cobblestone courtyards and the like.

And are those bricked-over windows along the way? We find the same in old Pasadena, and the story is, back in the day, there was something called a window tax http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Window_tax

I can't believe Grace wants murals (or graffiti!) here. It looks wonderful just the way it is.
