Sunday Breakfast
This is a typical Sunday morning scene to be found in the courtyard leading into the Law Society cafeteria at Osgoode Hall located right beside our City Hall. The "Toronto Lawyers Feed The Hungry" foundation provides 2 dinners and 2 breakfast every week to those in need and serves more than 1,600 meals/week from the cafeteria and has done so since 1998. The volunteers include lawyers, judges, students and people from the general public. Impressive.

what a wonderful effort!
I'm very impressed Pat, I love to hear about such things. It's so fantastic when those that have, make the time and effort to help those that don't.
That is very impressive and a wonderful way to give back.
I would love to see Portuguese lawyers and judges come out of their pedestals and do something similar here.
A very good way to give back!
I had no idea, but then so long as those in need do have an idea, then that is good enough!
Good for them, that is a lot of people standing in line for Sunday breakfast.
Very impressive indeed. I'm not sure our lawyers do anything as practical.
Sorry to hear about your raspberries. It's been another strange summer for weather.
This has got to be the neatest thing I've read about all day. Thanks for the post!
Kudos to those involved. I read the other day that about 30 years ago, something like 40% of college students were narcissistic ("Me,me,me"). Now that narcissism has increased to about 80%. So, it's good to see there are still folks around who want to help other less fortunate people!
That is a large number of meals to be serving each week. It is sad that there is such a need, but wonderful that these lawyers are helping to fill it.
The food must be very good.
Lawyers helping to feed the poor? I must have read that wrong. Let me try again . . .
Lawyers volunteering their time? Color me impressed.
I'm impressed! I didn't know about this.
Today you have to help a lot ... Is the job really bad.
I collaborate with red cross.
a kiss.
Good for them!
