Community Garden

This is a community garden where everyone works together keeping all the plants healthy and then sharing the results, rather than an allotment garden which is divided up into individual plots. No one was working when I passed by but the beds all looked well-maintained and I think they are going to have a good crop if our weather warms up a bit!

I really like the idea of working together and then sharing the produce.

I recently notice a garden like this right here in central Phoenix. I don't know if it's shared or an allotment garden. I'll have to check that out.

I love community gardens. We have two not far from where I live. Lets hope it stays a little warmer. I hear after today the temps will drop again.

I played too, my WW and signs blog post for this week

Saw something about community allotments on the box the other day; seems a really good idea - practical AND brings people together.

Such a great idea. Allotment holders where some friends of mine garden have grouped together to run one plot as a community garden.

Community gardens is such a great idea. Cities can provide garden space for many people who want to grow their own food and flowers.

A n ce permanent sign, so it must be a successful garden! I wish we had something similar here - our small back yard is not suitable for much veggie gardening.

That healthy looking garden seems to have been host to a lot of busy activity. Colourful sign.
