Knock Knock

This is a door knocker found on one of the doors leading into the lodge room I showed you in yesterday's post of the Masonic temple. Apparently most lodge rooms have double doors to stop eavesdropping and to gain entry one must perform a complex series of knocks which are responded to by a similar knocker on the other side of the doors. The "G" is a prominent Masonic symbol that represents the "Great Architect" or "Grand Geometrician".

Very secretive stuff then

Do you think the secret knock is "Shave and a haircut, two bits"? Fine looking graphic design.

Interesting. Although I generally find it off that people want to be part of a "secret society".

It would be just like me to forget how the secret knock went. Especially if they changed it often.
"Dang, I didn't want to go in anyway."
