Another Vintage Fence At U of T

We are back on St George St where it runs through U of Toronto for a view of another vintage house and its fence. This house was built in 1892 as a private residence but was bought by the university in 1939 and is now part of Woodsworth College. Both the stonework on the house and the fanciful fence are wonderful!

The fence is nice, but what a structure! Fantastic! I love stone, so this fits the bill. And I love the beautiful reflections in the windows!

They are both fabulous Pat, when you look a bit more closely at the fence it looks a little like peacocktails... or is that just to moi :)

Hard to believe the house is over 100 years old. The stone work is immaculate.

That's an imposing lookin house, the original owner must have been quite wealthy...

Lovely! Stone and ornate steel gates and fencing are wonderful additions to vintage buildings.

I'm sure that I probably walked by most of the big old houses in the annex that you feature in pictures, back when I did grad work at UofT. Beautiful old homes.

What a fantastic fence! I love the design.

Great architecture but I must admit that I find the fence a bit on the light side by seeing the more heavy architecture behind. Still good craftsmanship.

What a cool looking home and I rather find the fancy fence work charming.
