The Vessel Revisited

I first showed this sculpture called The Vessel back in April of 2012 (HERE) and it looked rather stark sitting in the park at that time of year. I passed by recently and thought that it looks a lot more interesting when viewed from across the road with trees and greenery surrounding it.

It's one of the biggest vases (vessels) I've seen. And that name of Taddle Creek Park is amusing. I could see "Paddle Creek Park," assuming there's a creek and you could go up the creek with a paddle... Just kidding. Love the sunlight in this shot.

It does look very appealing surrounded by all that green.

I seem to remember liking it back then Pat and yes, even better now that nature has grown up around, is it still a working water feature?
