Playground Art

I found this mural on the wall of a storage building in a playground off Dundas St W. Not sure who the artist is but I bet the kids like it and it probably stops a lot of tagging.

Much better than the usual graffiti found on walls.

I like it! Somehow people feel more free to be creative when children are involved.

Books can take you on a magic carpet ride. Still works for me. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

I like this one very much Pat, there is definitely something magical about books ☺ Do you have a problem with taggers? I've noticed so many of the murals I've shown are now tagged, I think we have a rogue tagger ☺

It's colorful and very telling, like you can jump right inside your storybook and imagine!

I hope you are right about the taggers having enough respect not to destroy this one, but I never think of taggers as being particularly respectful.
