Through The Trees

This shot was taken while walking along a laneway north of Queen St W. I just liked the view through the trees of Victory atop a pedestal on University Ave and the clock on Old City Hall that is a block away at Bay St with a new office tower as their background.

Oh yes, I really like this view too!

I like that view too! I bet you can't see it at all in the summer when that tree is full of leaves.

It's a beautifully composed shot Pat, as Sharon said most of this would be blocked by trees in summer.. you should be well pleased with this one.

Wonderful shot. Much easier to when the tree has no leaves. (:

Old City Hall's a beauty... one of my favourite buildings in Toronto.

Gorgeous and a little bit eerie because I've got a very similar shot from 2003 in NYC ... only there were two buildings. (Not the Twin Towers).

I thought for a moment that the tower is a kind of a reflection in the building behind but of course it stand before .
