Shakespeare In High Park

Every summer there is a production of Shakespeare in High Park and this year it is King Lear that is being presented. I'm not sure if a squirrel is really playing King Lear but I do love this sign for the production!

What a terrific poster, if that poster is anything to go by they should get a good attendance.
All the best, Gordon.

I dunno, the squirrel might be the only reason I'd see it

The billboard's photo is a little confusing with the squirrel's image, isn't it. Humorous, but I doubt that I would use that image for that play. It is a wonderful way to enjoy Shakespeare in the summer.

That is a great sign. I love the squirrel too but, I'm wondering what the significance might be.

Fine looking sign for an important event.

Love the squirrel but not sure if he has the pathos needed for King Lear!! (I jest!)

Cool sign!

Twelfth Night is one of my favourite Shakespeare plays. If not my favourite.

There are Shakespeare in the park productions here too each summer. This year Romeo & Juliet and Midsummer Night's Dream.

Ach! Squirrels! “O! Let me not be mad, not mad, sweet heaven; keep me in temper; I would not be mad!”

The sign is definitely fun,
but isn't Lear being played by a woman in this version?

I don't get to see plays or musicals as much, but I recently saw THE BOOK OF MORMOM and that one is funny.

I'd want to go , based on that sign (even if I didn't already love outdoor theater ... we used to have that here in Eugene, but I don't see it advertised now). I'm sure people (and squirrels) will all love the production in your park.
