Frozen Custard
It is not just the custard that is frozen here - it has been extremely cold for the last couple of weeks. I spotted this sculpture by Patrick Amiot outside a gallery in the Yorkville neighbourhood a while ago. He is a Canadian who now lives in California and uses recycled materials to make his sculptures which all have a comical aspect to them.

Patrick Amiot made all the creatures in the wonderful merry-go-round, or carousel in Markham, have you seen it?
Nice one.
The sculpture is wonderful. Keep warm, Red Pat. We should all get through this cold weather somehow.
His creations are so humorous! This is great fun!
..every is froze today.
That's wonderful 😀 certainly eye catching! I saw on the news about your horribly cold weather over there, rug up and keep warm Pat ✨
Fun!
Have a wonderful day!
I bet there is not much market for frozen custard in your area right about now. However, that is a very cute sculpture.
It certainly looks quite whimsical!
Okay... you have me laughing.
That is priceless . . . so fun:) Thanks for sharing you made me laugh.
Tomorrow I'll be celebrating my 6 years of blogging with a give-a-way, please come over and put your name in the hat :)
Keep Smiling.
Connie :)
It's never to cold for ice cream or frozen custard.
Cute as all get out! But the poor guy selling the custard looks about as frozen as his product! It's also interesting that the sculptor left Canada (Land of the Great Freeze) for California (Land of sunshine and warmth).
Looks a bit like Wallace in Wallace & Gromit. :-)
That's funny!
I wish they came up with another name for custard, sounds too much like mustard. Get your mustard ice cream!
lol
Really cute, he looks cold! It was -18 this morning early, but it's now 1 degrees above!
Aren't artists great?
