This sign is found on the old Davenport Garage of our transit system, the TTC. The garage was built in 1925 to service gas-fueled vehicles and is part of the Hillcrest Complex of the TTC but the building has not been used since 1993 although it is still well maintained. They are doing everything they can to attempt to keep the pigeons away as you can see by all of the spikes.

...you see a lot of these spikes in the city.
Ouch! We see that here to Pat, sometimes the birds find a way around them ☺
I have seen similar spikes, looks like they would hurt. Poor Pigeons.
Enjoy your day!
Pigeons are so messy - something has to be done
It is not nice to crap on the TTC. ~(‾▿‾)~
Lovely sign. Bet the spikes work to keep the pigeons away.
Seen a few of them here as well trying to keep them at bay
I see a lot of those "pigeon spikes" everywhere I go. There are even some where I live. They must be affective but I have to admit when I see birds perched on top of a spikey cactus, I wonder why these work so well.
Sooner or later they figure out a way around it.
Ha ha! A very interesting post on several levels, P
That sign needs a haircut.
Excelente olhar, um emblema bem protegido.

There's a spike in their relationships.
I've seen these spikes before and they had a few pigeons on them. They can figure it out so they can rest and do their thing. :)
The spikes look evil. as they should.
Really two signs in one.
Full service station now that been a while
Coffee is on
Seeing this more and more, everywhere.
Pigeons are a real problem...
I am a birder, but I don’t love pigeons...so this works for me. They’ll find somewhere else to perch, they are very adaptable.
Lots of our buildings have spikes too.
Ouch!
