A Winter Sighting

This is a common sight on our streets in the winter time - someone walking down the street with a hockey stick and a huge bag of equipment. You see people of all ages and both genders and in this case it was a young woman heading to a local ice rink for a game.

Thanks goodness for wheels, when it comes to carting around heavy hockey equipment. :))

I skated a lot as a kid but my skills at hockey were not realized until I discovered Air Hockey in a Phoenix bar! At that I became a semi-pro! :)

I played field hockey as a child but my skating skills would never have made it with ice hockey.
