Can't Resist

I can never resist taking a pic of this building at the Spadina Circle just north of College St. Built in 1875 the Gothic Revival beauty has had many uses through the years but now belongs to U of Toronto and after a recent addition to the other side from this pic it now houses the Daniels Faculty Of Architecture at the university. I was happy to catch the streetcar as it circled around the building.

Nice photograph Pat. I like how waited for the TTC to arrive before you took it.

That's an interesting juxtaposition. The historic building and the sleek modern cablecar.

I have passed this location many times. The architecture is indeed splendid. It even looks like a building intended for learning.

Oh excellent timing Pat, although it's impossible to distract from the incroyable architecture here. So perfect for the Architecture Faculty ✨

Beautiful! A fine and elegant building. I used to wait until everyone and everything had exited the scene to give me a pristine shot. These days I prefer shots like yours, with the colorful streetcar giving it some punch.
