Little Red Beauty

This pic was taken through a showroom window at night so there are a lot of little reflections but the car is so wonderful that I thought that I must post it. It is an MG Tf 1500 and these were made in the mid 1950s. Wouldn't it be fun to cruise around in it?

What a beautiful MG TF. This was a transition model between the MG TD and the MG A mostly only for the 1954 model year as the MG A was introduced in 1955. The A was the most commonly imported car into the U.S. in the mid-1950s. The TFs are quite rare these days, but are wonderful driving cars so long as one stays off of Interstate highways.

I'd love a cruise in one but would live in fear that even a passing leaf might scratch its sheen.

It is stunning. I absolutely knew that Taken For Granted would know about it. His knowledge of all things mechanical is amazing.
