Italian Culture

This building in the Annex neighbourhood houses the Italian Cultural Institute which is the cultural section of the Italian Consulate in Toronto. The house is beautiful and I really like the yellow & black sculpture out front but I could find no info about the artist. The Institute offers courses in Italian and houses a library and also has various exhibits throughout the year.

It is a beautiful piece of architecture Pat, love the bay windows. Somehow I would have expected a more classical sculpture in front of the Italian Cultural Institute 😉

I like the various shapes and sizes of the windows and those "curlicues," if that is what you call them. :-)

The artist is Bruno Billio .Found it by using google's nice google lens app by taking a photo of the screen from your photo with my mobile and then let it search. Gave me the answer within 20 seconds. To look at unknown art it is really good.
