Barn In The City

I spotted this nostalgic country scene while wandering along a laneway trying to avoid crowded sidewalks. The mural is done in a very painterly style but there seems to be no artist signature. I like the addition of the basketball net which is becoming a common sight in laneways as they are nicely paved and there is usually little traffic.

That one is very pretty. You are right, it looks a lot like a painting in a gallery.

Nice painting, and indeed, the basket is a surprise

Fine nostalgic mural recalling fun days on the farm. Most people have grandparents who lived on farms.

Gosh! I hope that's not glass on either side of the backboard. :-0

I thought it was a painting in a window. It is gorgeous, love the scene.

That's a more traditional piece of art than many of the murals you've shown. I half expect to find a sugar shack nearby.

Beautifully done, and the shadow of the net is just right, but, wee, is that glass behind the real net?

Beautiful countryside mural.
The addition of the basketball hoop is quite unusual. Thanks for participating Pat.
