More Pouring Of Concrete

Almost across from yesterday's construction site is this location of a new condo building where concrete is also being poured. The finished building is to be 8 stories high so it looks like they are getting close to the top. Here the concrete has to be lifted to the top in tubs like you can see up in the sky on the right.  This is a busy street right now!

Hello,

The area is busy with construction work. I guess that is a good sign, good for the economy. Take care and stay safe! Enjoy your day, have a great weekend.

It does look like there is a lot of building going on Pat, one more thing our cities have in common ✨

As long as they don´t take as much time as over here...

I see you have a concrete theme going. Takes a great deal of concrete to build this large structure. Interesting crane in your photo. It must lift a huge amount of concrete and other materials.

I pass by a building here that's in that stage, at least four times a week.

As my grandmother once commented on seeing the amount of building taking place in town - "It'll be a lovely place when they get it all finished", but of course they never do.

Lots of construction work going on in that area. I wouldn't even think about driving near it.

I enjoy seeing building being erected!

I'm uncomfortable around cranes (it doesn't help that there was a fatal crane collapse in Seattle some months). Add in vats of concrete and I'm likely going to avoid it if possible.
