Pouring The Basement

In this pic you can see the forms that were being filled with concrete by the pumper truck in yesterday's shot. Since this is the site for 6 townhouses the basement will probably be used for parking although the lot seems so small for there to be space for parking. Houses here all have basements as a place to have your furnace and laundry facilities. They certainly had a lot of workers there!

...a busy site!

And at the end of the day everything has to be cleaned up properly to avoid blockages in the pump installation. Unfortunately, that's more common than you'd think.

Hello,

It looks like a busy site, with the concrete being poured and with all the workers. It is hard to believe the area will hold 6 townhouses. Take care, stay safe! Have a great day!

That's a busy building site Pat, the man striding past clutching his hat looks like he's checking you out 😉

That is a lot of construction workers. They are serious about getting that concrete in place.

That's a huge project going on. It must be very noisy for the people in the neighborhood.

Plenty of men on the site. The neighbours will be glad if it doesn't take too long to complete.

It takes a large crew to pour concrete and can make for a very long day of work.

Construction as a outdoor work is going on here as well. Enjoy your day sweetheart

Not much peace and quiet to be had. I suspect the neighbors celebrate the end of the work day.

One does wonder what the end product will look like.
