Let's Play Ball!

This pic is taken right beside yesterday's photo of the skate board area at Christie Pits Park. Here we see one of the baseball diamonds that is open to the public and off to the left behind the fence is the diamond used by The Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball team which is a semi-pro team that plays in the Intercounty Baseball league. That field is closed for the year but the public diamond can now be used although it doesn't look too busy here. And of course the CN Tower looks on at us.

There is certainly an amazing view from here! And, look at all that green! That's something I don't see much of here.
I noticed after I commented about blogger yesterday that they have switched mine to new blogger again and I think this time I can't go back. I might have an odd post tomorrow too!

Hello,

It seems weird to see the field empty, I think they can play here. Just no large groups gathering. Take care, enjoy your day! Happy weekend!

I like the view.

It's strange to see an empty baseball place. I believe the MLB have cardboard fans and recordings of fans cheering so there would be some familar noise. Definitely weird. Nice view from where you took the photo.

Yep, there are a lot of empty ball parks here, too, although I did see some activity a couple of days ago when I passed one--no players, just people looking like maybe they were setting up for ball practice.

If you build it, they will come... The pandemic has reduced or stopped many baseball leagues. Perhaps they will return when we get a good vaccine.

...fields sure aren't busy this year.

That's a big complex...and a lot of empty. Sad.

They've certainly been keeping things in tip top shape Pat, ready for when practice can resume, wonder when that will be!
