A Bridge Over Frozen Water

Our recent cold weather has resulted in the pond at James Gardens freezing over for most of its surface. The ice isn't very thick but still creates a great backdrop for the wooden bridge.

Love that bridge Pat, has a Monet or Japanese feel to it! Oh so cold! I think most of the people who lost their homes in the fires will stay and rebuild on their land, they will be insured hopefully and will also get a lot of government help. One lady had only moved into her house two days previous to the fires, such a shame ✨

The snow and ice frame that bridge perfectly.

A pretty bridge over that thin ice. I see your temperature is much warmer than ours just now. We are getting a below zero arctic blast that will stay here for more than a week before it heads toward you.

Your title reminded me, however oddly, of my high school commencement at which the Simon & Garfunkel song, "Like a Bridge Over Troubled Water", was played. I think that a bridge over "frozen" water is a much happier thing. :-)

Yep, quite a charming view and that's what we can call troubled waters in its frozen shape! Oh spring, please arrive soon!

A bridge over frozen water is surely better than A Bridge Over Troubled Water.
