Grazing and Lazing

While I was wandering around one day in James Gardens I spotted a lot of activity in under the trees. There were several Canada Geese poking around looking for tasty bites to eat while several Mallards were trying to use the same area to catch a nap. They all seemed to be getting along alright.

Taking part in Saturday's Critters. Click HERE to see more creatures from around the world.

...this must be the reason that Canada geese are so big!

They do seem to get along fine. We can learn from them.

Perhaps a few are breeding right in the vicinity.

The geese and ducks seem to be fine in the presence of each other. Lot better than some poeple these days.

It's what they do and oh do they enjoy life! We need to be more like them in so many ways.

Canadian geese are everywhere. They fly over Finland on a migration trip (and they are thousands), and some of them then stay with us.
