Closest Water

The nearest water for these geese is about a half a mile away. I'm not sure if they know what a fire hydrant is used for but the scene amused me.

Hello,

The geese found a comfy spot to rest, maybe waiting for the water to be turned on.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a great day and a happy weekend.

This is a funny shot! One thing I've learned about geese is they find the strangest places to nest and relax.

That is amusing, and honestly they probably can sense it!

Keeping a watch just in case the hydrant spits out some water. :)

These geese must just like the bright colors of the hydrant. They can always fly to open water.

Waiting for someone to open the hydrant. :-)

In 1000 years, they may evolve and grow limbs to open a hydrant :D
