A Red Beauty

I spotted this red beauty  in a mechanic's lot and stopped for a shot immediately. It is a Ford Country Sedan, I think a 1957 but I could be wrong about the year. I love that it even has white wall tires!

I think the name plate on the car counts as a sign so am taking part in Signs 2. Click HERE to see more signs from around the world.

...a nice '57, my first car was a '55 Ford two door.

That's a wonderful restoration job. I wonder how many hours of work went into that.

Think you are right about the year, 1957. Station wagons were popular in the post-WW II era because so many returning soldiers were starting families leading to the 1950s "Baby Boom." Ford had some stylish cars back then.
