A different view of the construction that is taking place on the old Honest Ed's site. The buildings are supposed to all be rentals rather than condos but we shall see if that is the case when they are finished. A friend had a studio for a long time right where that first building from the left now stands. The times they are a changing.

The size of those buildings are very impressive.
Renting out is a pain, but then.. our condo is, too, depending on who moves in above.
If I was rich a house it would be ;-)

I lived in a tower block when I was a student - that was enough for me!

Developers get to do whatever they want and to hell with everyone else.
That seems like an overwhelming volume of apartments to replace good old Honest Ed's!
And not always for the better.
Its for better and worse and very big.
Amazing structures. I wouldn't recognize the city.
