To Each .......

There was a small building right in the middle of a residential area that had been a church when built in the 1800s, then a synagogue, and then several different offices before recently having a metal addition added to its top and being divided into condos. The units themselves may be nice inside but the look outside leaves me shaking my head. You can see at the right end what the original roof line was. To each their own.

It is an odd mixture. What are all of the boxes outside? For privacy?

Never seen anything like that before. Not sure it works visually but perhaps it does in commercial terms.

The need for housing is great so it's good to do these conversions but you are right, this one could have been done better.

Could have done a much better job.

Not my kind of design, but hopefully they are nice on the inside.

It looks rather like an office building

Usually your city does quite a good job at blending the old with the new. This one is an exception.
