It was hard to get a shot of them but these concrete structures act as a barrier between the car traffic and bicycle traffic in many locations around the city. Nice to have so many bike lanes so well screened from other traffic and immediately make a virtue of necessity by painting fun murals on them. Good idea.
Now if we can just protect pedestrians from the bicycles!
Your city seems to paint everything! We have similar barriers but mostly just left as grey concrete.
Barricade against the civil unrest
It is an attempt to make the barriers look ok, but they don't. A more aesthetic separation to make cycling safe I would hope is in the planning.

A good safety measure. A young woman was killed while riding her bike in Stockholm yesterday morning. Run over by a truck. A ride there all the time.
