They are building a timber tower as an addition to one of the athletic buildings at U of Toronto. When I went by in November it was covered in tarps so I will have to go back to check out the progress.

Always chasing tallest something
Roentare's comment made me laugh -- Toronto has never got over the CN Tower not being the world's tallest anymore, I guess!
It's going to be really high.
How unusual to build a high rise building out of timber. I wonder what the advantage is? What about fire protection?
I had to look it up to make sure I was understanding what type of construction it would be. That is very impressive.
