Sitting Empty

Almost directly across the road from yesterday's post sits this small apartment building that has been sitting empty for years now. This is a very expensive part of town so a speculator must be waiting for something before going ahead with a development of some kind. It is a shame for it to sit empty.

In Edmonton, that place would be full of squatters who would eventually burn it down.

How sad that all this housing should be empty. There must be a set of problems associated with this building.

Such a lovely building and what a great place to live. I hope something happens soon. Sitting empty is not good for a building.

That is an awfully attractive building to be sitting empty. At least no one has broken the windows or painted the walls with graffiti.

Wow, that is a beautiful big building. Whatever is holding it up, I hope it will get settled soon.

It seems like the path has been cleared of snow, so would someone be using the path?

Sad to see this lovely building sitting empty like this.

It’s a pity to see a perfectly good building left vacant for so long, especially in such a valuable neighborhood where it could easily be given a new purpose

You call that small, RedPat? A big WOW from here. If your place wasn´t that cold in winter... 2C, sunny here...

I'm a bit reminded of a building here.

I hope someone renovates it and puts the building into use!

It is a shame, it's a lovely and sturdy looking building. Please do keep us posted once it gets some life back into it.
