I was doing some errands downtown and noticed how the spire of St James Cathedral was framed by the buildings along this street. St James is about 1/2 mile south of where I was and I have shown you the front of it before (here).

Hope you didn't have to stand in the middle of the street for this shot. :-)
I did stand in the middle of the road but it is one-way coming towards me so I could see the cars coming!
I love this kind of city shot!
I like that view down the street.
Strong spire image. It pulls you to it.
I love how we often can see a steeple from a distance. Tom The Backroads Traveller
Beautiful capture Pat.
Beautiful spire!
what a neat color. Is the roof tile or copper?
If tile, I like that they went with this color rather than a red. It's more in tune with the sky.
Hope you are well, RedPat!
Amazing tower of the cathedral. Greetings from Bytom- Upper Silesia.

Terrific shot!
Fine composition in this photo. You are right, the buildings frame the steeple perfectly.
Nice catch! Glad it stands out like that...
Nicely composed, RedPat.
Very outstanding, looks like it's just been dropped into your photo!
So lovely to see these glimpses from different angles Pat, always a nice surprise :)
