Such A Tidy Corner Store

I happened upon this very well organized corner store on College St in Little Italy and was so impressed with how fresh all the vegetables and fruit were. It is wonderful that this type of store can survive in so many pockets of the city! And this building is a bit triangular - like a mini flatiron building.

This is a wonderful sight, RedPat. I'm amazed that these corner stores still survive but I'm very glad they still do.

I'd love shopping in a place like this. I do have to wonder where all that stuff goes at closing time.

That is so nice to see in these days.

If there was a shop like this near me, I'd shop there and happily pay the extra to avoid the supermarket experience.

I am glad places like this manage to stay afloat. Looks so cute and welcoming!

Perhaps this owner goes to the food terminal every day and buys the best he can find. It certainly looks better than some other corner markets.

Oh, the produce would invite me to buy at this store!

For me this image is about the guy in the yellow shirt. That makes it stand out.

I love stores like these. Nice and colorful too.
You mentioned that I probably didn't get much snow where I live. Garret County in western Maryland gets LOTS of snow!!!!: )

It looks great, RedPat. I was in Boston the past few days and went into Harvard Square for a while. There is an old gourmet provisioner, Cardullo's, that has gorgeous fruit and vegetables like this. Presentation matters a lot, even though we should be thinking about how food tastes, not how it looks.
