Deco Doorway

This wonderful little doorway is on the side of a small rather boring factory building but when it was built someone made an effort to make the entrance interesting. So many times this would have been an uninteresting flat steel door but here we have this nice deco detailing. Love it!

I was going to say - art deco from the 60s or before. Nice entrance for sure.

...nothing boring about this.

Great architecture maybe from the twenties or thirties by someone who followed the modern architects of those days like Peter Behrens or the ones from the Bauhaus.

I like this one too! I remember when those glass blocks were popular when I was a little kid. I even had some glass blocks in my Lego set.

Really lovely detailing. My family home had a glass block wall, they were popular at one time.
