Dundas St W Streetscape

This is an early Sunday morning pic of the streetscape along Dundas St W in the Brockton neighbourhood. It is very typical of the commercial areas along the main streets in downtown Toronto with many little independent businesses on the main floor and apartments above.

Hello, the apartments above are cute. I like the windows. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day!

Buildings look to be late 19th Century and early 20th Century, a traditional urban neighborhood.

Looks like a lovely shopping area.

I love places like this. They have a warm, welcoming quality about them, and a solidity that makes one want to hang around (and take more photos!). It's starting to get a bit windy. The gusts are fierce. The worst will come tonight about 2 AM. Winds at 75 mph. But tomorrow should be better. I hate hurricanes and I've been through many of them, including Andrew!

Looks like it could have been an old warehouse Pat, I love that they re-use these fab old buildings.

There is so much more character here than there would be in a mall. I love places like this.

I think those balcony like decorations on some of the windows are quite nice!
