Natural Wood

This is one of the cottages/houses on Ward's Island that hasn't been totally upgraded at least on the exterior. It is nice the way the natural wood blends into the surrounding greenery though. You can see bits of each of its neighbours giving you an idea of how close all the buildings are to each other.

...it looks nice just as it is.

I love the way it blends in with its surroundings. Even though it has neighbors on both sides, it looks like it's all alone in the woods.

The other houses are close, but the greenery still gives it a private appeal that is quite enchanting. I like the rustic look of it, too, it makes it look very relaxing :)

Wonderful the way it blends in .... perfect summer getaway (and I wouldn't mind the neighbors either ... that is sort of the way we live).

This is nice too, I like the skylight and I agree close together which makes for less mowing too!

It kind of looks like nature is starting to win the battle.
