Otter

This next mural from the supports of the old Mill subway station is this wonderful diving otter. First Nation artist Philip Cote seems to have captured the essence of the creature in this one.

Don’t hope its to much litter or plastic on the bottom but a lovely otter it is.

I love it. I love the way he's painted the floor of the water in a sort of abstract way.

Otters seem to love to dart in and out of various structures in the water and appear to be such playful things. They are great fun to watch, and this mural does capture that playful spirit. Love the colors, too.
