A Survivor

This garage looks quite old, probably older than the house that it belongs to as you can see in the background. I love the textures and the warmth of the rust.

This really does remind me of Illinois where I grew up. I would see old buildings like this all over town. I can almost hear the rusty grinding of those hinges when the door is opened.

Nice find and great shot! Like Sharon, I can almost hear the hinges squeak as the doors open (though it looks like they're the newest things on this building).

I love any old places like this - character and charm it used to called. Now we just crush everything and rebuild it. :-(
