A Hidden Balcony

This one is from the archives and is a couple of years old. Friends had a loft in a converted church and had a deck up in the bell tower. I was there for dinner one evening and you could look down onto this cute little balcony that was cut into the roofline of the church and wasn't visible from ground level. It was their balcony too so no privacy issues existed. It was a great spot to sit.

What a fantastic use of space Pat, I bet they have appreciated this private spot through lockdown.

What a great architectural surprise, and a perfect use of space in a converted church. Also makes for an interesting photo.

Hmm, I wonder how they drain the deck.

That is sweet! I lived in the Bell tower of an active Church for a while. A story for another day...

Very neat, must be cozy and peaceful (unlike ours). I must admit.... I don´t understand the sign, though.
