Bath Time

Most of the ducks at James Gardens were relaxing around the edge of the pond when one of them decided it was time for an exuberant bath. There was a lot of splashing as the bath continued on for  a good length of time.

The duck sitting on the rock must be done with bathing and is relaxing.

I guess you have to really shake those feathers to make sure they get clean. What a fun shot this is.

Perhaps the duck was hot and the water felt good. Fine action shot.

I really like ducks. Seeing the barred owl bathe in our wetland was magical, though!
