Naptime

I do like visiting the ducks that live at the pond in James Gardens and one afternoon I went by and found that they were all having a nap. Some were in the water, some on the ground and even one standing on one foot but all with their eyes closed except for one near the upper left that was looking at me through partially opened eyes. I stayed very quiet so as not to disturb them.

Taking part in Saturday's Critters. Click HERE to see more creatures from around the world.

They look so cute all tucked in. Great job catching them during their "duck" nap.

They are awfully sweet trying to catch a few winks.

A great photo!
That one was probably the designated look-out to warn the others of danger.
Have a wonderful weekend!

These guys are doing just what ducks should be doing this time of year, resting.

Hello,:=) I like to watch ducks too, but have never seen them snoozing. They must have swam a long way and were tired out.
