Dark Skies

I've always liked this school building and as I went past it a few days ago the skies were so dramatic that I had to stop for a shot. The sun was at my back and came out for a few seconds to highlight the building which was a great coincidence. The school is now called Central Toronto Academy but for years was known as Central Commerce Collegiate and it was built in 1916 and is still going strong.

It has indeed sturdy shoulders.

It's a beautiful building and you couldn't have gotten better lighting and sky for the shot.

Beautiful building and a beautiful sky. The flag's colours really stand out.

They don't make schools like this any more.

A lovely old building and it appears to be still as wonderful as the day it was finished!
