Looking Through The Screen

We had a load of snow fall last week and this was the view out onto my deck taken through the patio door and the screen. There was a good foot of snow piled against the door but I like the pattern that the screen created in the image. That little bump towards the left is my snowman who is 36" high and all that you can see is a bit of his hat.

You received more snow than we did, but I still had to spend yesterday shoveling. If I had been skiing it would have been perfect powder.

Maybe I'll settle for our monotonous grey skies and muddy footpaths after all.

You need some sun to melt that pile.

The best thing about winter is that the bugs are hibernating. Your screen made think of that.

Wow, a foot of snow. That's too much for me, I would hope it melts quickly.
Take care, enjoy your day!

Now, this is snow. Where I grew up, we talked about the Blizzard of 1978. I remember having to shovel the snow in my driveway and sidewalk. It was above my head and I am 6'6".

Yep, all these little bumps in the road of winter keeps us strong right?! I love seeing his little hat, perhaps once the snow melts you'll show us the rest of him!
