A Little Crowded

On the same day as the pic from last Saturday of the ducks on the icy pond I went for a walk along one of the trails at James Gardens and spotted this group of Mallards all crowded together in a small section of a stream. They all seemed quite happy together and some were actually sleeping. I counted 8 of them in that spot.

Taking part in Saturday's Critters. Click HERE to see more creatures from around the world.

They're quite at ease.

Hello,

Cute photo, the ducks may be staying warmer crowded together in that small section. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend.

They are seeking what little open water they can find. Fine winter image. Keep warm, RedPat.

Maybe they are helping to keep each other warm.

They were happy to find a spot big enough for them all! What a beautiful photo!

They are all hiding in the ditches. It must be so freezing

We went down to the duck pond this afternoon and the dozens that were still here seemed happy.

Did they find a piece of open water after all. Yes they remain clever beasts.
