The Dog Bowl

This shop on Dundas St W caters to dogs offering them all kinds of cool toys and accessories. It is conveniently located right by Trinity Bellwoods Park which has a large dog park area. I love the vintage glass on the storefront.

...the pet business is HUGE! The glass can be found here on many old storefronts too.

What perfect name for this business. I bet dogs are welcome inside too.

If you take your dog out for a stroll and pass this place, I think they would make an effort to stop. :) My wife and I were walking a friend's dog a few years back and we passed a local butcher shop, the shop wasn't opened that day. The butcher would always have a bone for Fergus when he came by. Fergus did not want to leave the door but we told him it was clesed. :) So we had to pull him away to continue walking. He did glance back a few times.

Cleaver name for this shop, but it should have a bowl of water out for the dogs. Perhaps it is too cold this time of year?

Reminds me of a restaurant we have here called the Hounds Tale. :-)

Nice that they used the same construction with color for the canopy as the roof termination above it
