"Consolation"


This is another sculpture from a courtyard on the grounds of St Mike's College at U of Toronto. This bronze by Canadian artist Joe Rosenthal was installed in 1996 and represents one friend consoling the other - it's quite touching. It is the 2nd of 2 pieces by Rosenthal at St Mike's.

the sculptor's concept is good, but i am not a fan of the execution. seems a bit amateurish to me. a well framed photo from you as usual though. thanks
