Snow Day

We are having our biggest snow storm of the season so far and even the schools are closed (a "snow day") since much more snow was predicted than we actually got. So I decided to walk over to one of the bigger hills downtown to check out all the toboggan action. This was my view as I walked along - the big flakes were beautiful, just like in a snow globe! More shots over the next few days.

It's very pretty, I think, but I'm so glad we got much less than expected!

That looks familiar.I'm happy to report that I have been able to use my bike for the last three days. I guess that isn't the case for anyone in Toronto at the moment.

So, the huge blizzard that swept across the US Midwest caught Toronto, too, I see. It has been a tough winter so far. Many people I talk with are ready for the winter to end, and there are at least two more cold months.

We had snow today too but not like what you had and they even closed the schools too. Nice photo, stay warm!

Everybody should just chill out and take these snow days as a winter mental health day. (with pay, of course!)
