Love in the Park

I spotted this Lovebot on the fence around the tennis courts in Trinity Bellwoods Park which I had shown yesterday. I had posted one of the original concrete Lovebots by artist Mathew Del Degan (click here) last year and they continue to show up around the city. This one is made with duct tape as are its accompanying words which are "Smile, you are not a robot".

I like this unique mural. Some people sure do act like robots but you are not one of them RedPat.

Lovebots? Who would think it would ever come to this. Duct-taping a fence? Poor Mr. Scotch must be having a sticky time of things these days.

I guess it's cute. Several people have said it's cute. Me, I'd prefer the fence unadorned. :)

how clever that he uses tape? I like that.
Happy Monday, RedPat!

I love the word lovebot. Like with the Alien Invader, it must be fun to look for other lovebot images. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
