Horses On Parade

The Toronto Police always bring a few of their horses to march in the St Patrick's Day parade and they are always a hit with the crowds. These horses are always so calm and seem to love the attention that they get.

Taking part in Saturday's Critters. Click HERE to see more creatures from around the world.

Not sure I could ever get accustomed to traveling on horseback. But always love to see them "on the job".

I can't get over how much those horses all look alike. Their markings are so similar.

Good to see the Toronto Police still have an equestrian unit. Police horses are trained to ignore noise, chaos and crowds. Have a great weekend, RedPat.

Yes, they are amazing! Our police joins (joined) Christopher Street Day like this, a big hit and I adored how the horses just did their job! No fussing around!
Wonder what they think? Guess you are right, they love the attention.

Still I would have liked a bit more fitting uniform for the occasion.

Those horses are just magnificent. It's nice to know that the good people of Toronto appreciate and enjoy the horses and the parade too.

Horses are so majestic looking. They have a way of drawing people in for a closer look. I used to work at a state park that had mounted horse rangers. They were good for public relations. Nice photo.
